A US exploration and production company acquired a similarly sized company and needed to complete all integration activities within a 6-month timeframe to meet synergy targets. Trenegy was hired to manage the post-merger integration process including accounting, production, drilling, cost tracking, reserves, land, rig scheduling, GIS, and data management systems and processes.
Trenegy developed the overall integration plan to orchestrate changes across all major business processes. The plan started with a phased approach to align systems and processes based upon criticality and ease of implementation. Our work included overseeing system changes, resolving gaps in business processes, aligning data and asset hierarchies in the systems, assisting with data conversion and validation, developing consolidated reporting capabilities, and performing in-depth testing and training.
