Sales teams were negotiating long-term customer contracts with outdated product costs, causing products to often be sold at margins well below expectations.
To solve this challenge, Trenegy helped the company develop a process to automate the integration of sales and operational forecasts with the pricing process. As part of this solution, we implemented an enterprise forecasting system to automate the modeling of commodity cost forecasts and conduct sensitivity analysis to improve pricing and financial forecasts. We lates built driver-based forecasting models to automate the entire financial forecast, including net income, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasting.
