Trenegy Welcomes Alan Quintero as a New Partner.

HOUSTON, Texas – January 11, 2016– Trenegy is pleased to announce Alan Quintero has joined the firm as a new Partner.

Alan will lead the expansion of Trenegy’s client services in operational excellence. Alan has more than 20 years of senior executive experience in international oil and gas operations with expertise in process and occupational safety, reliability and maintenance, major capital project execution and business process transformation.

“Alan’s unique purview and extensive experience are great assets to Trenegy. His partnership expands our capacity to serve energy clients as they solve complex operational issues,” said Trenegy co-founder and Managing Director Peter Purcell.

Alan previously served as Senior Vice President of Operations West for Transocean, where he was responsible for more than 4,000 employees and $4.5 billion in annual revenue. Alan joined Transocean as Vice President of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment where he led a major operations reengineering effort, achieving significant cost reduction by streamlining the organization.

Alan has broad experience in E&P and services, including 17 years with Atwood Oceanics, two years as General Manager of Underwater Tools, and six years with Exxon in various drilling and management positions.

Alan has represented the drilling industry in front of the United States Coast Guard and the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement regarding process safety in offshore drilling. Alan regularly presents to industry associations, and is available to speak at conferences and events.
