Bill Aimone has over 25 years of business and consulting experience focused on helping rapidly growing companies address a variety of strategic finance, operational, people and technology issues. He started his career in industry as a Finance Manager for an oilfield products company and as a Senior Analyst in the Business Strategy group for a large retailer.
Bill leveraged this experience to build a finance consulting practice in Ernst & Young’s Middle Market Consulting group. He then joined Deloitte as the Partner leading the Finance Consulting Practice for the Gulf Coast Region where he served clients in the Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Services and Healthcare industries. During his time at Deloitte, Bill was instrumental in developing the firm’s global integrated performance management methodologies and building the National Oil & Gas Practice. Bill was also a national leader for the firm’s Energy Practice’s eminence building and was engaged to speak on a variety of topics including: IFRS, Finance Strategy and Oil & Gas Performance Management.
Bill is best known for his ability to help organizations design and implement processes, organization capabilities and systems to support operational processes in an organization. His experience also includes: financial process improvement, organization design, technology strategy, strategic planning and enterprise system implementations. Bill believes in giving back to the community and serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for Boys & Girls Country and Cypress Christian School.
Bill holds an MBA from Baylor University in Waco, Texas and a BS in Economics from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
Rick Miller has over 20 years of industry and consulting experience focused on improving the core finance and strategic functions within oil and gas companies. Rick began his career with Texaco (now Chevron) as a financial analyst. While with Texaco, he held various positions with increasing responsibility in the following areas: domestic oil and gas revenue accounting, international exploration and production, and the global upstream close, consolidation and reporting process.
Rick then joined Deloitte where he was a leader in the Global Oil & Gas consulting practice delivering solutions within the finance, mergers & acquisition, and technology service areas. Rick’s primary focus was assisting companies with improving their performance management, planning and reporting processes. He also developed Deloitte’s Oil and Gas planning, budgeting and forecasting methodologies. During his time with Deloitte, Rick also served clients in the Manufacturing, Real Estate, Life Science, and Retail industries.
Rick is best known for bringing oil and gas industry specialization with multi-disciplinary knowledge to improve our client’s financial performance. His areas of expertise include: financial process improvement, performance management, business intelligence, and post-merger integration. Rick holds a BBA in Finance and Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Peter has over 25 years of business and consulting experience focused on helping high growth and middle market companies better understand and utilize Information Technology. Peter has held a variety of positions within industry including an IT professional at Shell Oil, a Chief Operating Officer of a small business, and interim CIO at four energy companies.
Peter’s passion for helping solve strategic issues that hamper a company’s ability to manage growth and change led him to consulting where he became the Partner in charge of the IT Strategy practice for Ernst & Young’s Middle Market Consulting group in Texas. He opened and managed the Ernst & Young consulting office in Austin, Texas focused on helping new companies plan and manage rapid growth. Soon after, he joined Deloitte to start and successfully grow the IT Strategy and Operations Practice serving the energy industry.
Peter is best known for being a translator between business and IT for clients as they address strategic issues. He helped these companies in the Oil and Gas, Chemicals, Healthcare and Services industries develop and implement solutions for such issues as IT Strategic Alignment, IT Governance, Change Management, Management Reporting, and Data Governance. Peter has been a regular guest lecturer at Texas A&M Business School’s IT Strategy program. Peter believes in giving back to the community and serves on the Board of Directors for Cypress Creek Christian Community Center and is a Scout Leader in a local Troop.
Peter holds an MBA from Georgetown University in Washington, DC and a BS in Computer Science from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
